Are more SW posts deleted than not?

Just recently I've been getting no end of notifications only to find the post is gone, and it's not usually because the posters have blocked me, it's because they've deleted the post. What's the point in posting something that you are going to delete in the next couple of hours? Isn't it a waste of time?

Lol I do that a lot, mainly cause I ask a lot of shit ,so I prefer it not linger in my questions section for long

I have been known to post something just to get the words out of my mind and then delete it. Sometimes people write out of anger and once they calm down they delete the post because the emotions have passed.

It isn't a waste of time to the author.

Sometimes I come on here just to blow off steam. Once I'm over it, I will delete the post.
I hate getting notifications on deleted posts though! Always wonder WHY
