What’s this Verify thing y’all are talking about?

@SW-User What I don't get more is why anyone feels the need to be verified and the possible security issues which can occur in your picture being open to anyone to see and (possibly) used unlawfully OR even to create a false identity. This is the only place I've been where it's been asked that a person identifies themselves with a photograph. It's possible to Photoshop another person into a picture, holding up a piece of paper. In that case, it's open to fraud and misrepresentation.
