Really?

Just had a conversation where it seemed the whole purpose behind the whole convo was to get me to invest in bitcoin trading.

More I think about it the more I'm convinced it might have been a scam. Anyone else had this sort of conversation or am I paranoid lol

Yes, there are many scams out there involving investing in unlicensed brokerage firms for X stock trading with a initial investment of $300-500. The catch is that its usually difficult to withdraw that money again and they end up "keeping" it much of the time. It is one thing to invest in bitcoin with your own money to a licensed broker like Fidelity and so on, it's another to invest with a broker whose sole purpose is to essentially keep your money and not let you withdraw it or withdraw with high fees.

@isupportalexwubbels Sorry I meant X as a variable, or "fill in the blank here" so bitcoin, commodities, etc.
