Is the surname "Dacosta-gomez" Sephardic jewish in origin???

Cause me myself i always thought that Dacosta-gomez was black, because in a old black and white picture of her she seemed 2 have very very dark or black hair, small asian or exotic looking eyes, a flat broad nose, and big lips. But then again even though when i asked people what Dacosta looked like they never really said African. Mostly mestizo and a alot of people told me that A sephardic family from spain moved to Curacao and set up the slave trade there.. Strangely enough Dacosta-gomez was also born in Curacao, so could that mean anything? Here's a picture of her.
