Gaming
The first step towards playing is building a force, be it a communist infantry or armoured company, or a UN infantry or tank platoon. All forces use the same (or similar) force organisation chart. This consists of:
- The platoon or company you wish to use, with all of its components
- 0-3 Support - This is additional support units, like tanks/infantry, artillery, and air support
Soviet Rifle/Guards Company
An example force would be a Soviet Rifle/Guards Company. Soviet companies are made up of platoons, and can overwhelm an enemy through numbers alone. A Rifle/Guards Company would be made up of the following units:
- 0-1 Commissar Command Team - a Commissar with a pistol and a rifleman with a rifle
- 0-1 Company Command Team - A Captain with pistol and three men with rifles
- 1-3 Rifle/Guards Platoon - Each Platoon is made up of 3 squads of 9 men, each of which can have an NCO and a light machine gun, along with a Platoon Command Team of 2 men
- 0-2 Machine Gun Teams - Each consists of 3 men with a Heavy Machine Gun
Additional units would include tanks ranging from the T-34 to the IS-4, artillery spotters, anti-tank guns, and Machine Guns
