I Am Creative

One of my daughters calls me 'granny apple' just because I enjoy knitting and making things, old fashioned pass times. I tell her I'm in no hurry to be an actual granny, yet. It's mostly a winters thing with me, something creative when the nights draw in. Instead of snoozing on the sofa I will knit. I tell my daughter I'm getting in some practice for if/when she has a baby. Of course, this is met with a little sneer at the old way of making baby clothes and both of my girls will probably want all new and expensive stuff from the store. In the meantime, I will knit!
