I Have Stubbed My Toe

Here is the tale of poor little Joe.
Who hopped out of bed and stubbed his toe.
His mother. Hearing his painful cry.
Rushed upstairs to find out why.
She said to Joe. "Youre silly son ! You should have put your slippers on !!"
Now Joes slippers lay beside his bed !
And he won't bump his toes anymore, instead. He'll put on his slippers and dressing gown too !
I think he'll remember.
I wonder.....Dont you ?

(P.S. How is it I can remember a third grade poem I was taught. But NOT where I left my keys ????)

YEP! I hit an uneven section of sidewalk back in November, and I still am having issues and swelling, but nothing was broken, at least according to the x-rays.
