any regrets?

Yes. In a way. I knew any children I had would be, essentially, owned by my powerful mother and her cult-like group...so I never married or had children. I miss not having a family. I am now old and very much alone in my life. But...under the circumstances, I probably did the right thing. I could never have subjected a child to what I went through, and, although I thought about it, the truth was, I never could have run fast enough and far enough to evade my mother's people.

@Fernie: I might have been a decent mother, but I would not have been given the chance to raise my child; my mother and her group would have gootten custody somehow.
