the dark tower is coming out as a film this year and by the looks of things theyve gone and completely fucked it all up

@Prudence: have you seen that roland is now black, and that theyve cut out eddie and Susana
@TheCoolestCat: i don't care what color Rowland is, but there's so few characters, why cut Eddie especially? He is indespensible. King signed off on this???
one exception is "The Shipping News".....is on my top 10 favorite novels and i have to say it's the most authentic and sincere adaptation to a movie that i have ever seen, due to the perfect casting, i believe. But yes 99.9% of the time the movie is terrible and not at all faithful to the book.
