What's the longest distance you've walked in one go?

In measurement, 26 miles on a hike on my birthday along a beach. I gathered special stones. It was a wonderful day.
And then from Buffalo to Port Colborne. I missed my ride home from a party. It was terrible. Took from pre-dawn to about 1 pm. I had to work right after. I hitchhiked with a friend. It was horrible. August and hot as hell once the sun rose.

I work in the city. And often until quite late.
If I miss the last bus or it's cancelled, that's a fifteen mile walk !
Done several times !!
Sometimes I might get lucky and catch a ride. Folk out this way seem to understand the transport dilemma !

26 miles across the Haleakala crater on Maui. If I remember correctly, took us about 16 hours.
