My sister was out of work, layed off and was getting behind.. gave her a few hundred dollars.
Daughter - so she could buy food.
My sister. She bought a new house and I gifted her money to buy a fridge with because food deserves a place of comfort too even if it's temporary.

@Selah I sent my ex money for food/gas/basic life stuff for a few weeks. She just got out of treatment for some personal stuff. One less thing for her to worry about.

Last time it happened in a really odd way, my brother technically owned me around $150 and I could have bothered him about paying me back but I never did.

I didn't hound him about it because he has a mortgage, debt and two young kids. I'm child-free, no debt, no mortgage. It felt like a dick move to ask him to pay me back.

Random act of kindness.

Everytime, it was a gift. Never was there an expectation to be paid back, nor had the other person/s felt obligated in anyway to do so.
