Thanksgiving is on separate days because the harvest season in different regions... differs
of course the harvest season is technically different throughout the US but I guess they had to settle on a single day for the national holiday.
You will notice Canada is further north and thanksgiving is earlier. The US is further south and thanksgiving is later.

Yup! 100%! There's totally no holidays in the US in November. Especially none that involve turkey or Pilgrims and pies and stuff! I'm sure glad companies realize that and put Christmas stuff on TV in mid October!
