Can’t stop gambling need help

Iv lost a lot of money and right now I’m peniless im 23 with no job and I feel absolutely ashamed of myself as many people my age are probably well ahead of me . Keep having suicidal thoughts as I use up my benefit money which is only 342 I receive every month . I really don’t know what to do or where my life is going

Well that's what addiction does to you, man. My sister's was gambling, mine's alcohol.... Haven't quite gotten over it but... Y'know.... Only time you'll stop is when you realise you've had enough.... Those long hangovers/feelings of existentialism over blowing a lot of money will get the better of you eventually.. Limiting ourselves, that's the point here. Your resolve is the only thing that's gonna help you, pimp.... Having said that, perhaps our addictions aren't as comparable as I thought.. Look up Gamblers Anonymous and phone their helpline.

I've several friends that are in recovery from gambling addiction via GA.
