"Successful people wake up at 4am". Your thoughts?

Carazaa · F
Who[c] can find a [d]virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.

11
The heart of her husband safely trusts her;
So he will have no lack of gain.

12
She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.

13
She seeks wool and flax,
And willingly works with her hands.

14
She is like the merchant ships,
She brings her food from afar.

15
She also rises while it is yet night,
And provides food for her household,
And a portion for her maidservants.

16
She considers a field and buys it;
From [e]her profits she plants a vineyard.

17
She girds herself with strength,
And strengthens her arms.

18
She perceives that her merchandise is good,
And her lamp does not go out by night.

19
She stretches out her hands to the distaff,
And her hand holds the spindle.

20
She extends her hand to the poor,
Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy.

21
She is not afraid of snow for her household,
For all her household is clothed with scarlet.

22
She makes tapestry for herself;
Her clothing is fine linen and purple.

23
Her husband is known in the gates,
When he sits among the elders of the land.

24
She makes linen garments and sells them,
And supplies sashes for the merchants.

25
Strength and honor are her clothing;
She shall rejoice in time to come.

26
She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.

27
She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.

28
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:

29
“Many daughters have done well,
But you excel them all.”

30
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

31
Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates.

I believe people who love God are busy people, and we find that sleep is not as important as doing a Bible devotion, helping others, and working. I get up before its daylight and go to bed after midnight.

What's the point of being successful if I have to sacrifice your health and well-being for it?
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@BlueVeins how does getting up at 4am equate to sacrificing health? Maybe they goto work at 5 am and are in bed by 8pm...
BlueVeins · 22-25
@iamnikki It'd screw with my circadian rhythm. Humans didn't evolve to be nocturnal.
So my problem is I sleep thirty minutes too long...figures.😶

They’re successful at getting up super early

I'm up at 5 is that close enough?
MaryJanine · 61-69, F
I am up at 5:00 AM, and never go to bed before 10:30 PM. I need to get up that early to beat the other three floors to the washing machine or dryer, or the Peapod driver is due. (He comes between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM.)
Guess I’ll never be successful

4 a.m.

Are you crazy???

No way

Successful people go to bed at 3am
MaryJanine · 61-69, F
If you can get up and get dressed and have breakfast and follow that with a productive day, well, yeah. P.S. It doesn't count if you get up to go to the bathroom and go back to bed. When you are up, you're UP.

My body wakes me up around 4:30 every day.

I love getting to work early. You basically get all your A-List items done for the day. That leaves the rest of the day for revisions, mentoring, and “managing up.”
MrMonnyPenny · 22-25, M
Isn’t it more likely that people who are particularly driven and hard working find themselves falling asleep at 4am?
SW-User
@MrMonnyPenny I doubt it.

Anybody who burns “the midnight oil” at work has no concept how to manage their time and/or people.

To have morning sex, yes.
