Where I lived for twenty years, there is a large Amish community and I was surprised to drive by the local bar on a Friday night and see a dozen Amish buggies in the field behind the bar.

@stound It is. The Amish young - where I lived - are a very attractive group of children - and it’s odd to see them step down from a horse-drawn buggy in leather jacket and jeans. Mostly I saw boys, not girls.
@Mamapolo2016 I've never lived near amish, afaik. I feel like it'd be kinda cool to live near them and kinda friend them, but ... also that's exactly the kinda thing they don't want.
