Why are we not allowed to have our own opinion or view on something, without being yelled at or ridiculed for it?

Because MSM and schools has indoctrinated people to not think for themselves. And when critical thinkers do, they get destroyed.

Be yourself, ask what you need to ask... stay strong and don't let their harsh disagreement, discourage you...

Some people use forums as target stands. Verbal violence has always existed and led to physical violence, with new technology it's going faster now.

You don't even have to just share an opinion, sometimes just posting the question will generate negative comments even if you don't have an opinion but are just putting the question out there.

and going on like they have no conscience

You are allowed.. They just cannot handle different opinions. It shakes their foundation.

It’s actually quite easy to just ignore them. Even in the thread. Ignoring these types of people is the best remedy.

Apparently some people's self-worth is so tied up with what they believe that they take any statement or question that challenges their own beliefs as an attack on themselves. That's the only explanation I can think of. Either that or they just resort to personal attacks because they can't refute someone else's argument. It's sad.

I've rarely had anyone yell at me for expressing an opinion. But I've been blocked a lot for it. Oh well. 🤷‍♀️

We are.. In my opinion that's what the Q and As are all about ... Sometimes silly but often thought provoking

Because most people don't like those who have a different opinion from them.

The trolls reveal themselves and the ones to block or mute become clear. Don’t let them censor you. Plenty of us are interested in what you have to say. 🙂
