Have you ever been hit on the head by a hailstone the size of a tennis ball?

Why not?

Well for one reason I don’t go outside when it’s hailing. And another is I’ve been fortunate enough to not have a storm drop hailstones that large anywhere I’ve lived. It happens though in Oklahoma, and causes a lot of damages. The largest I’ve seen is golf-ball sized hail a few years ago and it sounded like someone up on the roof hitting it with a baseball bat. Remarkably no damages, we had the roof inspected and no problems...just had it resplaced 2 years before.

I had a long walk to my house from where the school bus let me off, and I got caught in nickle to quarter size hail. I was bleeding and crying when I got to the house!

@pedrohedgerow Will, grapefruit size hail has wiped out herds of cattle! I'm really surprised more people aren't killed by hail.

@PoetryNEmotion Not for 3 years now,the reason being my mate Steve retired.I miss it so much,we had some epic battles on the court,often playing for 3 hours or longer 😟
