I live on a slope at a kinda main street and it's so tiring having to hear all those revving sounds 😖

And the city planning commission in the 70's probably didn't know what soundproof is 🙄

@TacoCat probably! The car once stopped as I was driving uphill because I didn't want to rev it up much 😅 but I had underestimated the angle. So I can understand why they do it. Cars aren't that bad, but those scooters and motorcyclists... Ugh
