Does anyone else get annoyed when people compliment them excessively?

Anyone else? Or am I just a fucking prick?

I don’t know, I don’t mind a compliment, I love them. But if you are constantly doing it, it feels like you are kissing ass. It just gets on my nerves

It is a little annoying, as you said, it can be excessive. And I think most of the time the compliments come from men, and 98% of the time it's because they want something in return for their nice words.

@maybesomeday My Dad gave me the best advice about guys when I was 14. He said guys are hunters and all of us want what we want... but a good guy will wait to find out what you want... and be okay with that. So make them wait some and then be clear.. and see what they do. It’s never steered me wrong my whole life.
