108,470,690,115 people have been born. Do you really think this is the only life you have ever had?

I think that you only have one chance of life on Earth.

And it's your choice to either be an asshole or a good person.

I don't believe in reincarnation.

@Lostpoet of course they deserve it. 😢

And that day will happen in Heaven.

That's just my belief. I could be wrong.

🤷🏻‍♂️ Yea

George Carlin was an atheist.

An hilarious
I used to firmly believe through indoctrination into the church and years of followup bible study that we were given only one life to live, so live it well and accordingly.

But as much time went by and I grew up I took a more forensic and death-bed-accounts approach to the mysteries and implications of scripture (ie. all Abrahamic religions). After much consideration I have given room for the possibility of reincarnation. One can still live their lives well and accordingly, just from another perspective.

This argument makes zero sense. If you mention high numbers you should also stipulate that we would never recur to the same world.

@Lostpoet Only if creation is infinite is there a guarantee of sufficient repetition on a 1:1 basis. Any explanation in magic is speculative nonsense.
@Lostpoet "genes that make up you could've existed in that exact order before?"

When you say 'you' do you mean your physical body or is that an inference to the soul or spiritual body?
@Lostpoet 108,470,690,115 people born/20,000 genes in each human body = 5,423,534 chances?
Personally i don't believe in reincarnation so yeah.. This is the only life we ever had or will have in this world/earth anyway (according to my beliefs)

@SStarfish it's hard for me to imagine that many individual people. That's a lot of souls.
@Lostpoet reality isn't limited to our imagination

through out the generations?
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
@Lostpoet all I know is there's over 7 billion of us right now but I do believe the number will increase so much...maybe the next 7 years will hit close to 8 billion
Lostpoet · M
@FreestyleArt Yeah, that's the estimate number of everyone that has ever been born. I think it's from 2017 so it's not even up to date.
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
@Lostpoet I don't remember the website I was looking at but somehow it tracks every number of population per second between new born's and death. the data was pretty accurate

Only one lifetime makes very little sense to me.

I don’t personally believe in reincarnation.

@SW-User Don't you think that just through chance your genome has been replicated before?
