I want to buy a piece of land just a small piece and turn it into a little smallholding eventually completely self sufficient. Fresh eggs and meat organic fruit and veg. Early mornings but happy early mornings, homeschooling children who play together in maybe some woodland and when the sun goes down a lovely communal campfire drinking tea and playing real music on real instruments. Hard work but the kind of hard work that makes you want to sing while you do it not cry.

I do to certain extent, there is less stress overall i admit, but stress still exists, its just stressing over different things, usually stuff you took for granted before you made the 'big' lifestyle change. They are often short lived but immediate and stressful never the less.

In the summer, I go to work often to get away from my daughter. Couldn't imagine home schooling her because we'd drive each other up the wall. 😁

The recent and current world affairs make yours a tantalising thought/prospect.

Been wanting to do this for years closet I got was getting a 5th wheel and travelling now I want a sailboat big enough to take my children and there family and travel the world ,,

Every time there is yet another mass shooting this fantasy comes to mind. Logically I am far from handy sovkiving off the grid is unlikely for me.

I feel like I'd get bored and create drama and stress out of nothing with me kids and possible hubby lol

I live out in the country, have thought of living off grid for years...

I do miss I do pick me pick me lol

Where we going?

I admire the ambition and goal. It took me decades but I finally found some peace late in life in a quiet place in the hills.
