I also think it’s disrespectuful. There are other ways to protest social injustice and our flag and our soldiers have nothing to do with the social injustices that people say they are protesting. The soldiers that fight for our freedom aren’t the ones that are cops, shooting first then asking questions. They aren’t the ones who cause a racial divide. So why would it be acceptable to disrespect them and all that they do to keep our country free? I just don’t get it.

And that’s ok. You don’t have to believe me but I have too much respect for the soldiers who have given up so much to make sure that my life and and my family are free to disrespect them by kneeling. I know a lot of soldier who feel it is disrespectful so even if I didn’t feel the same way I would have enough respect for them to not do something to make them feel like their sacrifices aren’t worth it to me.
