It was so much more rewarding to hang up on someone with those phones as well

@SW-User heavy-duty stuff; you could blunt-object kill someone with just the receiver. hell, they're all probably in the same exact condition to this day, sitting in some warehouse or landfill.
Fernie · F
@SW-User it WAS so satisfying to slam the phone down on someone...angrily hitting the "end" button now just doesn't feel the same

Remeber the old phones with the circle?

Had to stick your finger in a whole and turn it to the desired number?

I remember ,if the phone rang during dinner, who ever it was for, would be grounded.
chrisCA · M
@Eddiesolds Your dad would answer it, and tell your friends, No, they cannot come to the phone. Lol
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M
@chrisCA Lol! Oh yeah! He told one girl that called Me to get out of my phone! Lmfao!I hated getting grounded.

I know. It’s a miracle
And you had to stay in one room to talk. How did we survive ? 😱
Fernie · F
@bijouxbroussard ha! and when the wire got stretched out enough you could pace back and forth and maybe even cook with the receiver tucked under your chin.
