Other than Taco Bell what is a good place to go for authentic Mexican food?

The other Taco Bell a couple of miles away

El Pollo Loco would be about as exceptional as Taco Bell.

Anyplace would be better than Taco hell. And I actually like it, but it's American fast food.

Where are you? I'd skip most chains. There's no great real Mexican here, but some decent Tex Mex and "fresh Mex."
