Do you sometimes base your value...

On another's ability to see your worth?
I used to do lots of that seeking validation from others.
That only leads to being taken advantage of and being used by others until you can give no more and it's draining on the soul and in the process I lost myself in a sea of depression and thinking I am not worthy of life itself
I woke up and now do things that make me happy and now see my own self worth and if anyone does not like it then they can get lost

I once did. Not anymore. I know my own worth now & matters not if another doesn't see my worth. Their loss and my gain. It really only matters what I think of myself. I sleep pretty well at night. A lot of stress leaves when ya stop worrying what others think of you, stop people pleasing because you're afraid of not being liked, stop thinking you're not good enough & all those other negative things. I plant my own garden and pick my own flowers. Oh and I drive my own bus too! Much happier!

@Pambi Thank you. Took many years lol Wish all I knew now I knew when I was a lot younger. It would have made life much happier!

@Wolfdancer Sounds to me as though things turned out perfectly.

Ahhh, nothing is perfect in this World. Just make the best of what is left. :)

Yes, sometimes. It helps to know that I'm not just taking up space. And honest praise is always welcomed.

Your questions require too much thinking. So, I'm just going with no.
