What's something really messed up you did as a child but didn't realize wasn't okay until you got older?

I did a lot of messed up things and I knew that it wasn't acceptable, but I did it anyway.

I look back at kids that were made fun of in my elementary school in the '70s. Now I realize they were victims of circumstances beyond their control--poverty, neglect, abuse.

On a lighter note, I wiped my boogers on the wall beside my bed. GROSS.

Sometimes I got angry at my cat and held him up by the throat. I still feel guilty for that even if I didn't understand because I was so young.
