@hippyjoe1955 Yes, lots of people did. That was before statehood. She was here during the time it was Indian Territory!

@bigjohndl Yeah I guess so. She and her parents moved here to Alberta before it was a province. Their first winter was spent in a tent. -45 with Dad Mom 3 brothers and a sister.

@bigjohndl Yeah I remember her being a real crack shot. She taught me how to shoot gophers. My aunt told me that Grandma once shot a weasel off the back of the pet rabbit the weasel was attacking.
