I am a visual artist that makes almost nothing from my work

A cliche but true story:
i live on the edge when it comes to finances but i'm being creating things.
Should i get an extra job to be able and live more comfortable, but have less time and energy to focus on my art or keep on living like a spartan and just fak the system? 🤪

Start selling your art from home .. take up freelance work online ..

If you get another job, you will be too tired to do anything the days you work. If you work 5 days a week, this will mean you will maybe get in one or maximum two creative days a week since you need a break too.
