You don't have to explain anything to anyone. If working at home works for you keep doing it. It's not lazy if you're working is it? It's hard for some people to be out there in the world. Ignore the family...they always think they know better and they often do but...working online is something society isn't used to...not going to a job everyday somewhere else...I think sometimes they get envious. Do what is best for YOU!

There are many people (relatives) that are more then willing to think the worst of others,h owever, they would want sympathy for themselves in a bad situation. Don't worry about it. Take all the time you need. Besides you ARE making money. That's what it's all about.

I knew someone who worked for uhaul, handling renter problems... that was a mostly online job.
