How long would you commute to work?

Is an hour one way too long?
Nope that's me every day...

Unless it's a kick-ass job and your making lots of money. If your driving - the wear and tear on you and the car, if your on the train it's probably easier. If it's not a career maker, it's too long. I used to do that (long commute) and you just lose so much "life" time....literally!

I've done it before but I was single back then and my time was all my own.
My brother-in-law has been doing it for several years now. He has a great job and all the perks that come with it but he doesn't get to enjoy the fruits of his labor or his family anymore.
Depend on how the job will benefit me, how I commute and how much I enjoy what I do at work.
@TwiddlerofThumbs it’s a new joboff so I’m not sure how much I’d like it. Much to consider.
@FigNewton it's a totally new career field?
I would question whether there are jobs of equal value closer to home, if not I would take it until I found something reasonable that suited my desires or needs.
I talk to grocery checkers her commute over an hour to go to work but I've never asked them why they are willing to do that when the same stores have the same jobs closer to where they live.

That can get old after a while. But, it if the job pays well, it could be worth the commute.
