What do you do to relax after work?

It's just been days but I'm so stressed 😢 I'm doing my boss' work for some reason and I am also working even at home. I can't say anything since I just got hired 😔
NCCindy · 36-40, F
May not sound relaxing, but I go out and run a few miles, take a nice hot shower and change into something comfy !!!
emereese · 26-30
@NCCindy I wish! I have asthma tho and it's kind of not safe to run at night here.
NCCindy · 36-40, F
@emereese Too bad you can't go out safely ... even walking is good if you can't run !!!
emereese · 26-30
@NCCindy I'll try bringing one of my dogs hahaha running with my Belgian Shepherd gets out of hands sometimes tho 😅
QUIT
Work should only stay at work

For relaxing, some swedish massage and a trip out of town 🥰

Rather than looking for a remedy for stress, I think you should look for a better employer.
emereese · 26-30
@TheConstantGardener If it doesn't get better in a month I'm doing that 😅
5thApprentice · 31-35, M
I honestly just lay on my bed and look at the ceiling if im exhausted. lol
emereese · 26-30
@5thApprentice same but my mind would still be racing and worrying for work tomorrow *sigh*

Brooksy · 41-45, M
I drink 🤷🏻‍♂️ Not heavy. Just a couple of hard seltzers to unwind
Brooksy · 41-45, M
Exactly! I got my puppy because I live alone and had thought it to be a mistake because of how difficult it's been, raising him, but it was totally worth it. He's my little brother now and I miss him dearly when I have to go to work. Otherwise, we're never separated
emereese · 26-30
@Brooksy Dogs are like heaven's gift to mankind to ease some of our loneliness by being our companion and family.
Brooksy · 41-45, M
Yeah 😌 I stayed at a friend's house for new years and when I woke up, it sucked because we usually spend a good bit of time cuddling
[c=#359E00]ah.. the unavoidable fate of 'the new guy'[/c] 🙄
[c=#359E00]drink hot milk tea is enough for me to relaxing, and smoking if you are smoker[/c]
emereese · 26-30
@YukikoAmagi 😢 it's my first job too and I had to face the other company's boss since my boss isn't around because it was New Year. Milk tea sounds amazing! ✨
@emereese [c=#359E00]Then do it as good as you can. It's to build up experience and mentality, i'd say that it's a rare chance[/c]
emereese · 26-30
@YukikoAmagi Yep! i'm really doing it for experience both (literally and paper) hahaha I hope I get something from it and it ends well.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
I go on the internet as my work deals with domestic violence and financial stress for my clients. WORK stays at WORK

Back when I was working I would come homwe and take a long hot bath with a cold beer before settling down for a football game on TV
