I Believe the Meaning of Life Is Life Itself

I understand what you mean. It all depends on how you see your life. If we imply that our lives are connected, then there would only be one butterfly effect. I was imagining 2 or more butterflies that start flying far away from each other, but whose flights end up converging. 2 butterfly effect can merge into one, don't you think?

@FlowerAlchemist I think there's a misunderstanding here. I just see a butterfly effect like a neverending tree with exponentially more branches as it grows. The effect is often indirect. What you are describing seems like what I would attribute to the term range of influnce. Or just influence. The buttetfly effect is monodirectionally infinite (only forward) and boundless. There cpuld be a branch on the tree to go back to my analogy that is the effect yoy'vd had on someone and to their effect on others. I more attribute the butterfly effect to actions though, to have a single starting point.

I see. I regarded the butterfly effect as something similar, also monodirectional. But I was stating that the "tree" was always me and my actions. I didn't take into account that my actions have consequences, and not only in me, but in other people as well. That's the real nature of the butterfly effect. However, if I keep seeing myself as the origin, I cannot include in it the previous butterfly effects of people (if they didn't affect, or I at least judge so) or the ones which, even if simultaneous to mine, act in different dimensions.

@FlowerAlchemist I don't think everything is predetermined because that assumes an observer and I don't believe in any such thing. Did you mean living casually or casualty as in death in the previous reply?

I believe the same, I don't think fate exists, not god.
I'm not sure if I understand correctly, but I do think that people who just play along their "fate" are not truly alive.

@FlowerAlchemist If say someone just saw it as predetermined and didn't bother with doing anything? I agree.
