I'd like to see her put in an overhead bin. 👺

United has accepted blame for the death of the dog, which of course does not alter the fact that the dog needlessly suffered. I can only say if I were taking a pet on a flight with me, I'd know for sure the rules and tell the airline employee to shove off if they told me to do something that put my pet in danger. Sounds as if the woman also had a newborn and an older child with her too - she was probably frazzled trying to handle everything and felt she had no choice. It's a shame this happened and she needs to sue the airline.
@frequentlyme yes, she should and the attendant needs to be fired

One of these days "flight attendants" will be made to realize they are NOT Gods or Doctors or other such premium beings - they are freaking waitresses with wings. Damn arrogant airline bitches!

I hope she was fired. How cruel, that just makes me sick.

That’s why you shouldn’t take pets on planes
