[b][c=#000000][i]Nature can be incredibly beautiful and serene or have dangerous and fascinating elements that can create havoc and devastation with the human component. The waters of the Mississippi River in conjunction with the Ottawa and Gatineau rivers are extremely high.
The flooding around here is heart wrenching to see and disastrous. Many families are going to have to leave their homes, some already have been evacuated along the Rouge River in Quebec.
I took these pics last evening of the Mississippi River in Carleton Place. The one road was completely closed due to the water levels going under the bridge so high.[/i][/c][/b]
