Who is looking forward to the UK football season starting tomorrow?

The Premier League doesn't start until next weekend, however, the Championship and EFL start this evening.

Who are you team and what do you think of their chances this season?

Can't wait to be back at Celtic Park for the start of the season tomorrow and it happens to fall on my birthday so that's great. Nice having some football in the summer but nothing makes up for not having league football.

I feel like the gap between us and Rangers has closed a bit but more because we have gone backwards. They have improved a little but still couldn't touch the Celtic of two years ago or even a year ago. I feel like we will win the league but whether it is by more or less points than last year will come down to whether Gerrard can push his players on from being about level with Aberdeen (who I think have also improved from last season) to pushing Celtic to the final day.

@thatscottishguy I haven't kept a close eye lately on Scottish football. I've seen a few people mention that Rangers could be a real threat this year. Although they'll miss Kent don't you think? Tierney would be a big loss for you guys. I'm fond of Celtic I have family from Glasgow and they are greens.

@SW-User They'll definitely miss Kent. Tierney would be a terrible loss and I will have to drink away the pain if he goes😂.

The gap is closer but I think there is a lot of assumptions by media down south that Rangers are a lot better just because Gerrard which is nonsense. He has done well but even just looking at the squads the difference in quality is still pretty big.

Between the Women's World Cup, the Copa America, and the African Cup of Nations, it doesn't feel like football went away. I have missed Premiership football, though. And, weirdly, the Fantasy Football.

@nedkelly you think you'll get any of your transfer targets. Is Maguire worth the money you'll have to pay. Personally I don't think he is, however, he does improve your defence.
