Things are going scarily well for England

A ridiculously young team and hammering the opposition in the last two games. Yes, the Czech Republic and Montenegro are average sides but they are not terrible and the start of the Euro qualifying campaign could not have gone better.

I don't think we will win Euro 2020 but after that, we could have a side that one of the best in the world.

In other news, Scotland gets hammered by Kazakhstan and scrape past San Marino.

@Nyloncapes I'm not normally an optimist but I genuinely can't remember the last time England had so much young talent.

The World Cup was a slight overachievement given the playing resources but well be in a much stronger place in three years. Our best prospects are all between 18 and 21 so they'll peak at the 2024 World Cup.
