@room101 Kanes misx was decisive. I think this England team just don't have the players to beat a good team playing well

The boys did well for the first 30 minutes or so and then it was like Croatia got the measure of them and simply wore them down. When we consider that only 30% of players in the domestic league are actually English, the talent pool is rather limited.
But they're young. Who knows what they can achieve going forward. To be honest, I see potential.

We watched Only Fools ans Horses after to cheer us up.
My boy was gutted, i feel sorry for all the teachers tomorrow having to deal with sad and tired kids.
Gutted but they did us proud. They didn't have the finishing today. Kane seemed to struggle to get forward, maybe it was nerves or lack of experience.
But what a tournament!
