For those of you who don't know who Mick Fanning is!!!

He's a three times world surf champion & he retired (runner up) at the Bells Beach Classic last week. I have been fortunate enough to bump into him in the water from time to time as Bells is his home & it's where I surf. He is a true inspiration to sports in general & a lovely lovely guy as well. Every time I've been waiting for a wave he's given me his & always made a point of catching up & giving me pointers. Good on ya Mick, catch ya in the drink, cheers mate 😘

I grew up in Torquay but haven't been back there for years. Bells had literally nobody there when i was a kid except at easter. I met Wayne Lynch there once but nobody else famous. You are lucky meeting Mick Fanning. I've heard it gets really busy down there now.

@SW-User Yeh, we move between beaches for the obvious reasons. You probably arn’t aware but the Addis Point end is a nude beach now lol. Great fun to spend a stinking hot Saturday night down there. It’s good if there’s a bunch of surfers sleeping on the beach as they take no shit from assholes and they’re really respectful towards us girls.

@Les02 Lol no i had no idea there was a nude beach down there. It'd probably be a good place for it. If i remember, nude beaches are swimming during the day and ... other stuff at night 😏
