I Have Self Esteem Issues

You have to learn to be gentle with yourself.

When I was your age, I was very much like you are. However, I knew exactly where my self hatred came from: my upbringing. My mom raised me to believe I was the most despicable, most unattractive male to ever exist.

I'm not saying that your self loathing comes from how you were raised. Where we're such a media intense society, constantly being told what the standards are for "normal" and "attractive", it's fairly easy to fall into the trap of self loathing.

Same. Probably more common. What it's me is that it seems like it comes so easy to others
