I can relate. My confidence is difficult to maintain stable.

When I was your age, I was very much like you are. However, I knew exactly where my self hatred came from: my upbringing. My mom raised me to believe I was the most despicable, most unattractive male to ever exist.
I'm not saying that your self loathing comes from how you were raised. Where we're such a media intense society, constantly being told what the standards are for "normal" and "attractive", it's fairly easy to fall into the trap of self loathing.
