I agree with you that friends are important no matter their gender, but must of my friends won't do "girl stuff" with me
They take me to concerts, to games, to have dinner but if I try to talk about how bad my menstrual cramps are, they get all uncomfortable. It's a silly example, but it's how it feels.

@floatingtheocean Totally, I mean, don't believe I haven't tried. People just assume that I choose to only have male friends, but that's a lie, I would love to have a female friend to be honest with, to watch cheesy movies with, to go find a dress for a party with... but I just seem to be too awkward xD
