Why do you think some people are so negative? like they see you happy but they come sit and tell you negative things .. they just break your spirit

They either see the negative in everything or they are narcissistic and want to pull you down to their level.

a lot of times, it's because they're envious of your happiness. that's a lot of the reason why many are annoyed by happy, or content or even chipper people. someone else being on top of the world bothers them when it really shouldnt

some have been through a lot, but it isnt any excuse, so many wallow in it, and want others to wallow as well, because it's a comfort to them

there's also some who are just plain fucked up, and genuinely enjoy doing it.

They want them to be miserable like them.

i'm happy... though people (only 3 so far) tell me i have an attitude.... problem.

but, it may be them in more ways than one.
they've got projections that implicate that maybe it's THEM who's negative.

i respond to the stimulus i receive.

Whats the point in being positive, be negative and avoid disapointment its easier

It's true. I tend not to hang out with negative people.
