How often do you have ''deep conversations'' and do you think humans need to have such conversations once every while to survive?

Often and I enjoy them very much with people who are likewise.

lately, almost daily. but not in the way i would truly like. i don't need it to survive, i just desire them, especially as of late. especially late at night. really sick of people saying they want to talk, and when i add them or get there, it's nothing, or all they want is for me to turn on my cam. just friggin TALK like a human, geez. :(

Not that often anymore. Me and my former best friend used to have them all the time, sometimes a few of us would talk the whole night solving the worlds problems and having real deep conversations about stuff we wouldn't tell anyone....right now, the only reservation I have about not having deep conversations anymore is probably not being able to connect with someone in a more human and intuitive level stripped from materialistic and ego driven social situations

Some people sure need them, I'm not so sure about everyone though. I mean, existential crisis can be bad to some but for others it comes second. I have these kind of conversations when they occur, not too often but I could say I'm satisfied.

I think meaningful conversations and an effort towards understanding are very important and I would like to experience them every day, but it rarely happens.

I don't know about "survive" ... but I do think that "meaningful" conversation is necessary for us to connect with others .... we are pack animals afterall

I have them from time to time. Not everyone requires them to be satisfied, though. I've known people (a couple in my own family) who have no interest in anything that isn't superficial.
