What is love to you?

Unconditional acceptance for who I am and never being made to feel like I'm not enough.
GlassDog · 46-50, M
The realisation that you are no longer a circle of one, but a collective of two that is acting like a circle of one.

Love is where you care about another as much as, or even more than, yourself.

No one can define it. Love is something so great that only God could design it. Love is beyond what man could define. Love is immortal & God's gift is divine. I thank God for the love of my dear wife💝😘💘😍

Indescribable...I've been trying and everything but can't seem to define it🤔🤔

@Faust76: Is that someone's homework?

@ajoite: Presumably. The next question is "How do we love God?" though so maybe some kind of Sunday school or something, but of course none of the other questions seem to have an answer scribbled, so I'm guessing just a joke :p
Though I'm partial to the ancient Greek philosophers take, which suggests that what the English language calls "love" isn't a single concept or thing at all. Then again, this happens to any word if you dig deep enough (cue neuroscientists pointing out that nobody shares the same reality).
But there's something wonky in the way the English-speaking love their kids, their coffee and their, uh, lover.
And then there's the biological scientific definition of "love", which while really conveniently ignoring the real question, is something I don't think people should be forgetting. At it's core, love really is just chemistry, but we humans have the capability to give so much more meaning to it. Sadly, I think most people just go with the chemicals, which is whole 'nother can of wurms.
