The amount of love from people ringing in from throughout the world, most of which knew before we did about Manchester made my broken heart feel so much better. In the middle of the night the people of Manchester opened their doors to complete strangers caught up in this horrific situation this doesn't surprise me at all, I've witnessed the love that the people of Manchester can show in horrific times.
Lots of love to anyone affected

I'm proud of the people from my city. I know, from daily life, how open and friendly people are here, but when there's an emergency like this, it's heartening how many people offer beds to strangers, or head out in their cars to see if anyone needs a lift. Credit to from the taxi drivers from Liverpool too who drove in just to see if they could give people free lifts back to Liverpool.

@Aidolovemostofyourthoughts: Yeah, I'm not sure, either. Things are surreal here. I'm heading to work in a few minutes and I'm trying to prepare myself that one of my colleagues may be missing, or may have lost a family member.
