Would it be weird to walk around your house with a gun at all times?

Or would that make perfect sense if you're going to keep a gun in the house anyway?

I don't walk around my house with it. But it's in a very easily accessible, central location. A year and a half ago the cops arrested a man who had been burglarizing my area. He was hiding in my bushes. I haven't needed my gun but I'd rather have it and not need it....
