Can humanity evolve beyond religion?

Firespirit · 26-30, M Best Comment
Maybe in future but as a species we are still pretty young and have growing pains like religion

@Firespirit: Excatly, humanity is destined to evolve.Evolution is a slow and painful process.I believe so too that in the distant future humanity will evolve beyond religion, maybe after world war 3 or 4.

@LoneKnight: We tend to only learn after many people have died
LoneKnight · M
@Firespirit: For the time being humanity haven't learned yet.I hope in the distant future they Will after they are sick and tired of killing each other.

There's something in people that seems to need something bigger. I'm not religious, but I'm also not sure the world would be a better place without religion.
LoneKnight · M
@GlassDog: Yes for the time being most humans need religion. If there are no.religion than there will be racial and cultural differences and that is worst.
I think humanity will evolve beyond religion in the distant future.

Probably.... I don't really believe that, I was just trying to portray false hope for our race.

Probably not.. We're doomed to be apart of it forever... ᶘ ͡°ᴥ͡ °ᶅ/

I doubt it. Religion is hope. Human suffering will never end.

Many of us have already. Ignorance is difficult to overcome
