Why do we let a greedy, conceiving government control us?

I don't get it, most of us would agree that we don't care for the things we are made to work for but we gladly accept it out of desperation, in fear that we'd live in more poverty than we already do. If only we as the ppl would come together to make our government support us to create the lives we truly desire.

The government has most people right where they want them. Living pay check to pay check, and fighting over there political views! They keep the country in turmoil to have the people off balance!
