Do you ever get someone's name mixed up? Even though you know what their name is, the wrong name sticks in your memory?

So you have to correct yourself every time you think of their name?

I have certain people I've known for years and for some reason my brain doesn't want to remember their names, was left in a really awkward moment last year when two people, whom I couldn't remember their names both came at me at the same time. Had to say I was popping to the loo and will leave you two to introduce yourselves.

I'm lucky that I know six people that are called Rob, it's the Welsh way to add a nickname to every person, no matter how un PC : Blind Rob, sea Rob, special brew Rob etc

I have two friends. One is Tom and one is Tim. I am always mixing their names up, and they have to point it out to me before I realise I slipped, again.

Yes, people used to do that with my siblings and I and I've done it once or twice with my own children.
