In your opinion, do you think people really change?

Yes. But they either have to really want to change or they were changed by circumstances they felt were out of their control. Everyone grows and changes, usually in the direction of their indirect choosing.

I know I have. I lived a violent life for a long time. I was a Soldier, a police officer and a defense contractor. I long for peace now.

Yes, but only if they truly want to. Most of the time they give up halfway when things get tough.

I think we have to change. Those that don't become crotchety.
