Well, as wise people say that first impression is the last impression!...So, from that perspective, a good profile pic does make difference. However, the important part is how one presents himself/herself during the interaction with others...😊

A man may look quite handsome but might not be respectful towards the lady!...A woman may be too pretty but has an arrogant celebrity attitude. What good would the photo avatar fetch in this case???!!!...😊👍

It is important to see each other

For dating it is important. We all have characteristics that attract us or turn us off. I think having a photo avatar increases you pool of candidates, people on a dating site would be less likely to attempt to engage people without at least one photo posted
